Gil Lozada has been all about music all his life. He is now
sharing that love and gift of music with all the fine locals and
tourists from all over the world, and any one else who have a
love for the beach and a great variety of music, including
Jimmy Buffett, the Eagles, the Beatles, America, Elton John,
Bob Marley, the Police, John Mayer, and many current pop
songs.
I play at the incredible Doubletree Beach Resort in North
Redington Beach outside by the Beachside Tiki Bar, every
Saturday 6-10 pm (occasionally inside the Copper Cove
restaurant/bar if inclement weather and Sunday 1-5 pm
(weather permitting -- you know, Florida's daily forecast: hot
and sunny with a chance of rain). Hang out with Rick (he's too
funny) and Eddie (he's too cool), the rockin' bartenders who'll
serve you the tall, strong drinks, and our beautiful waitresses,
Kristen and Courtney help out at the tables, bringing you those
delicious delicacies and beverages from the restaurant.
We're officially "winterized" here in Florida, although we get
the Indian summer once in a while Fla. style, but it appears
due to the general economic challenges, live music is on hiatus
at the DT until March 2010, so until then, everyone have a
safe and good Fla. winter, hopefully mostly, warm, not like the
recent long stretch of arctic blast we recently
experienced...poor strawberries...
